Terms of Service

Setster is an AI-powered training partner available on the web and as a mobile app. It helps you plan workouts, log sets, and track progress through a conversational coach. Features, limits, and pricing may change over time.

Setster is not a doctor, physical therapist, or certified personal trainer. Nothing in the service is medical advice.

Strength training involves risk of injury. The coach makes recommendations based on the information you give it and on general training principles — it cannot see your form, diagnose pain, or assess whether a given movement is safe for your body.

Consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning any exercise program, especially if you have a pre-existing condition, are pregnant, are recovering from injury, or are taking medication that may affect exercise. Stop exercising and seek medical attention if you experience pain, dizziness, chest discomfort, or shortness of breath.

You train at your own risk. By using Setster you acknowledge and accept this risk.

You must be at least 18 years old. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity on your account. Notify us immediately at support@setster.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

One account per person. Don't share your login or resell access.

Setster is offered on a free trial followed by a paid subscription. Plans and prices are shown on the pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.

Web subscriptions are billed through Stripe. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Subscription. Your access continues through the end of the current billing period.

iOS subscriptionsare billed through Apple and managed in your Apple ID subscription settings. Per Apple's policy, refunds for iOS purchases must be requested directly from Apple.

If a charge fails we may retry and may suspend paid features until the balance is resolved. We may change pricing for future billing periods on at least 30 days' notice.

Don't use Setster to:

• break the law, harm others, or violate anyone's rights
• probe, scrape, reverse-engineer, or overwhelm the service
• share content that is illegal, infringing, abusive, or malicious
• automate large volumes of requests beyond normal personal use, or try to extract model outputs in bulk
• impersonate anyone or misrepresent affiliation with Setster

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice depending on severity.

You keep ownership of the data you create in Setster — your logs, goals, programs, messages, and uploaded images. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content only as needed to operate the service for you.

We may remove content that we reasonably believe violates these terms or applicable law.

Setster, including the coach, prompts, schemas, visual design, and brand, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for personal non-commercial use while your subscription is active.

You can close your account at any time from Settings or by emailing us. We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. On termination, your right to use the service ends. We'll honor deletion requests per our Privacy Policy.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties — express, implied, statutory — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the coach's recommendations will produce any particular result, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Setster will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; or for lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill; arising out of or related to your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 50.

You agree to defend and indemnify Setster against any third-party claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. Nothing here limits your rights under applicable consumer-protection laws.

We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material we'll notify you by email or in-app before they take effect. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
